jenn Thursdays: Post-it Art

I first came across The Hello Project a few months ago and I have been meaning to write about it ever since. Created by Joseph Delhommer and Kristen Caston, The Hello Project is "an online social collaboration giving people the chance to say hi, hello, or hola on one of today's most common yet neglected canvases: the Post-it®." Post-it art?!! Love it! Below are a few of my favs.

If you like these then also check out Post•Ings, the Facebook page of a very talented artist who is creating one Post-it drawing a day, for every day of the year. Incredible.

jack Tuesdays: ‘La Moda Animada’

What if fashion designers were Disney characters? Elle Spain's April 2010 issue takes a whimsical perspective on that idea. [via Miss at la Playa]

jack Tuesdays: The New Industrial

One of the latest trends in furnishings are industrial-inspired designs that are very graphic and have glossy finishes with bold colors called the New Industrial. These contemporary and sometimes awkward, hard shapes can be over-designed and ridiculous, but it can also be very hard to look away from them. What do you think?

jenn Thursdays: Bombs Away

It seems as if leather bomber jackets have sprung up all over the place lately and I have been craving one.. bad. Sadly I can't afford real leather so I have been forced to settle for a faux. However, I am pleased to report that after scouring the market for the past few weeks I came across one very convincingly-real faux version in H&M that I couldn't pass up. Although, if I had the opportunity to splurge it would most likely be on the lovely Juno leather jacket from Mackage's SS 2010 line. [Incidentally I am also obsessed with the hair and make up on the model in the photo too.]
